About Safe-T-Net
Safe-T-Net, Inc. provides risk management, safety, and training expertise to our clients. We have over 20 years of experience in construction, safety, and insurance. Safe-T-Net understands risk and how to manage it.
Our solutions are based on successful experience and common sense. We know how to help you solve your worker's compensation and O.S.H.A. concerns. We also know how to effectively address your liability concerns. Liability exposures that are not dealt with can put a contractor out of business. We are fully insured, which protects you and proves that we follow our own advice.
We have been professional members of the American Society of Safety Engineers and members of Carolinas A.G.C. Safety and Health Committee since 1995. Our expertise is validated by both the Certified Safety Professional (C.S.P.) and Associate in Risk Management (A.R.M.) designations. Our President has also achieved a master's degree in Environmental Health and Safety.
Why was Safe-T-Net formed?
After working for St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Company for 18 years, Trip Lawton saw first hand the devastation in lost lives and company revenues of poor safety performance. Most contractors want to operate safely, but often have difficulty integrating safety into their daily operations. Safety becomes a Monday morning safety talk and little else.
In Trip's Words

"When I started this company, friends and clients have asked why I would leave a great job with a national company to start a new professional service. For me, every man reaches a moment of truth when he realizes he can do more for people by changing his relationship. I decided to begin this new adventure so that when a client says, 'I have a problem, can you help me?,' I can honestly say that I am fully capable and free to do whatever it takes." |

Trip has a Bachelor's Degree from Clemson University and a Master's Degree in Environmental Health and Safety from the University of Minnesota.
